CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE ACCOMODATION OF MICRO/MINI-LAUNCHERS AT THE GUIANA SPACE CENTER (CSG)
CNES wishes to open the CSG to new European launchers.
In order to ensure transparency and equality of treatment between MLOs, CNES has opened a call for application in December 2021 in order to pre-select a group of launcher projects to be accommodated on the DIAMANT site at the CSG with an objective to begin launch operations in the coming years. This call has been formally closed beginning 2025 after the signature of Binding Term Sheets (BTS) with 5 MLO.
Being chosen on another launch site at CSG, one of these 5 MLO has formally left ELM Diamant site last quarter of 2025. Additional place might be freed in the next months, should some of these MLO not commit a development contract before the end of validity of their BTS.
The purpose of this new Call is therefore to pre-select one or several launchers for the place(s) that has been or will be freed until end of June 2027, date of closure of the present selection process. As soon as another place is freed before end of June 2027, this place will be allocated to the first one of the pre-selected MLOs fulfilling the requested conditions.
The accommodation of launchers at the CSG will be done on the basis of the general principles provided in annex 1.
Only MLOs that justify having Headquarters and main establishment in EU or ESA Member states are eligible to this call. A MLO already selected on ELM or ELM2 is not eligible to this call.
